Mentor Coordinator Report
Stories & Quotes To Share:
Mentors are always great at staying up to date with their student’s different events. Mentors attended school plays, choir concerts, band, and orchestra to support their student in the last few weeks before break!
When together pairs and groups spent time chatting, crafting, painting, playing games, and reflecting on the past few months.
As we step into the holiday break it is a good time for reflection. It helps to remember that while many are ready to welcome the respite others are facing grief, loss, blended family dynamics, uncertainty, and a lack of structure. We are thankful to our mentors who provide unwavering support through every season of their student’s life.
Highlights:
December went quickly since we only had a few weeks of matches before the holiday break. All matches and groups were able to meet pretty consistently despite the business of the season. All the pairs were given their new, cozy merchandise from Be The One which made for a nice little Christmas gift.
Individual pairs remained steady as did groups. In January, with the semester shift we may see some changes, but hopefully everyone comes back refreshed and ready to connect. Based on the surveys we took from groups it looks like 95% or more students intend and want to stay with their groups started in 1st semester.
