Earlier this week, I had the new Ferndale coordinator shadowing me when a student came in to meet his mentor. While waiting for his mentor to arrive, I asked if he would like to tell her anything about Be the One. He said:

Be Encouraged
Recently one of our coordinators spoke in the middle school health classes. He shared about the program and shared a Be the One video. The response was overwhelming. 21 students filled out a response card stating that they want a mentor.
Almost all of them stated that they were LONELY and needed SOMEONE TO LISTEN to them and believe in them.
