Angel found that his mentor’s hard life when he was younger had similarities to his own. He wanted someone who would give him good advice. Knowing that his mentor understood his personal life challenges, helped Angel to finish strong and graduate even after setbacks with his mentor encouraging him every step of the way. He recommends the mentoring program to other students and suggests that mentor’s try to see things from the student’s perspective.
