Mentor Coordinator Report

Stories & Quotes To Share:
A small letter with BIG impact
A mentee recently shared a gratitude letter she wrote in her English class with her new mentor. The letter was addressed to her aunt, who has endured a very difficult year with the sudden passing of her husband. This mentee wanted to encourage and express her gratitude for her aunt. The mentor was deeply moved—both by the thoughtfulness of the letter and by the trust her mentee showed to her in sharing such a personal piece of writing.
Road Ready
With a driver’s license knowledge test scheduled for that afternoon, a mentor and mentee spent time studying together in my office. The mentor was fully willing to spend their mentoring time going over practice questions with his mentee, recognizing the importance in building his student’s confidence in taking next steps. Their preparation paid off, and the mentee successfully passed the test later that day.
