Improv 2019

BTO Thrive is an after-school group mentoring experience in which adults from the community work or play alongside students building relationships through activities which help students THRIVE.

This year at LHS students learned communication skills, by practicing Improvisational principles such as “Make your partner look good “,  “Listen”,  “Make eye contact”, “say Yes”.  All this and much more was practiced weekly with a mega dose of laughter leaving these students far more confident in themselves and feeling connected through positive interaction with caring adults and their peers.

Contact us at betheone@partnersforschools.org if you have an interest in participating in after-school group mentoring. We are looking for mentors who want to work with youth through fun skills-based classes and clubs.
