March has been a month filled with meaningful connections! Thanks to consistent weekly meetings, new relationships have blossomed. One of our newer matches shared how much they love the program, saying they have the perfect mentor. Their mentor echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the ease and judgment-free environment they’ve cultivated together.
As this student described her mentor: “She is the easiest person to talk about things with. There is no judgment.” Here’s to more moments like these!
Highlights:
We matched 7 new pairs this month. I think it is our most growth in a month this year. Being intentional with our matches is first and foremost on our minds. It really paid off, the new matches were all excited to be together and felt a connection right away.
We currently have 3 boys on the waitlist and 6 girls waiting for a mentor.
Upcoming:
Spring Break is April 7-11. When we return we will conduct end of the year interviews. The students are excited to participate in this.
Prom is coming up quick~ April 26th. The girls are very excited to dress up.
