How do you describe a mentor? They are retirees, and middle-aged, and in their twenties. From experiencing troubled childhoods to enjoying a positive influence from parents, all are inspired to motivate and shape the lives of children. They enjoy the time spent with their mentees. Sometimes they learn more from their mentees than they think the mentees learn from them. Stepping out of their comfort zones, they find opportunity to be role models. They connect. They are relationship builders.
